While taking pictures of ducks and geese, someone driving down the road told me to talk farther down and I'd see eagles. Sure enough, there they were! First time I'd ever seen a bald eagle in real life, and I managed to get pictures. I got some from far away, then my daughter and inched on our knees about 100yards in the snow to get closer and get a few decent pictures before they flew farther away. It was a cool experience, and I've been looking for them ever since!
It was very cold outside. This was (if I remember correctly) my first time ever going out to try and do "wildlife photography" on purpose.
